Workers use these numbers to make registrations on jobs and tasks in the time and attendance and manufacturing execution functionality. Job types that are need for registration are suggested, and a setup is proposed. The proposed setup depends on the parameters you defined in the Time and attendance parameters form and the Manufacturing execution parameters form.

Note

Before you complete the setup in this wizard, you must define number sequences in the Time and attendance parameters form. Click Human resources > Setup > Time and attendance > Time and attendance parameters. Click Number sequences and then define the number sequences.

Fields

Field

Description

Assign Operations job numbers?

Select this check box to assign unique job numbers to operations jobs that are related to production orders.

Note

If parameters have been set to run job scheduling for manufacturing execution, jobs are automatically transferred from production orders in Production control. In that case, you do not have to assign job numbers to operations jobs. Therefore, this field might not be available.

Assign Projects job numbers?

Select this check box to assign unique job numbers to project jobs.

Assign Activities in project job numbers?

Select this check box to assign unique job numbers to project activities jobs.

Assign Absence groups job numbers?

Select this check box to assign unique job numbers to absence groups, which are set up in Human resources.

Assign Absence codes job numbers?

Select this check box to assign unique job numbers to absence codes, which are set up in Human resources.

Create missing system activities?

Select this check box to automatically create missing system activities during the calculation of registrations.

This is relevant if a worker is set up to use a specific work time profile, and the worker has not made registrations for a whole work day. For example, if the worker has made registrations for six hours on a work day, but the profile day contains eight work hours, a missing system activity line will be created in the Calculate form when a supervisor or team leader calculates registrations for that day.
