Allocation keys for bundled jobs (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Production control > Setup > Production > Allocation keys.

Use this form to define which allocation key to apply to bundled job registrations within a specific area. If an employee starts more than one job in the Job registration form, it is called a bundle. The time spent on bundled jobs can be allocated to the individual jobs in different ways by using allocation keys.

You can create one or more allocation keys for specific areas. An allocation key can be applied to a site, a production unit, or a resource. The allocation key defines how the total time registered for all jobs in a bundle is divided between the individual jobs.

Note

In areas where no specific allocation keys have been defined, the general allocation key applies. The general allocation key is defined in the Production parameters form, in the General area, in the Bundle type field.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.
