Application e-mail templates (form)

Click Human resources > Setup > Recruitment > Application e-mail templates.

Use this form to create email templates that you can use when you communicate with applicants. You can create application email templates for the following correspondence actions:

  • Received – Inform the applicant that the application was received and will be reviewed.

  • Interview – Confirm a scheduled interview.

  • Rejection – Inform the applicant that the application was rejected.

  • Offer – Inform the applicant that you are offering them a position within your company.

  • Employed – Confirm an employment agreement.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Select the correspondence action to create a template for.

E-mail template

Enter a unique name for the email template.

Subject

Enter the subject of the email message.

Text

Enter the body text of the email message.

Application bookmark variable to be used in e-mail

The application bookmarks that were set up in the Application bookmarks form. To use the bookmarks, place the cursor in the subject or the text field where the bookmark should be positioned and double-click the bookmark.

For example, you might enter this information as text by using the following bookmarks:

  • Person – (%HRMVirtualNetworkMap_name%)

  • Date of receipt – (%HRMApplication_dateOfReception%)

  • Recruitment project – (%HRMRecruitingTable_hrmRecruitingId%)

Dear %HRMVirtualNetworkMap_name%

We hereby confirm that we have received your application of %HRMApplication_dateOfReception% regarding the position: %HRMRecruitingTable_hrmRecruitingId%.

Each bookmark in the text will be replaced with the information that is specific to the applicant who you are sending the email to.
