Worker/item consumption (2 periods) report (ProjConsumEmpl2Prd) [AX 2012]

Use this report to analyze worker and item transactions by project for two separate periods.

When you generate this report, the following default parameters are displayed. You can use these parameters to filter the data that will be displayed on the report. For more information, see Filter the data on a report.

Field

Description

Include project types

Select the types of projects that you want to include on the report. You must select at least one project type.

Include transaction types

Select the transaction types that you want to include on the report. You must select at least one transaction type.

(Ledger date - period 1)

From date / To date

Specify a starting date and an ending date for the project transactions that are posted to the ledger in period 1.

(Ledger date - period 2)

From date / To date

Specify a starting date and an ending date for the project transactions that are posted to the ledger in period 2.

Actual vs. budget

Select Actual to display actual values on the report.

Select Budget to display budgeted values on the report.

If you select Budget, you must also select a value in the Forecast model field.

Forecast model

Select the forecast model that you want the report to use.

If you are using project budget control, select the budget forecast model that is used by this project.

Skip blank ID

Select whether to exclude expense and fee transactions that are not associated with a worker or item and any on-account transactions.

Skip zero

Select whether to exclude rows where the amounts are equal to zero.

Show amount

Select how you want decimals to appear on the report, from the following options:

  • With decimals – Amounts are displayed to two decimal places of your company currency.

  • Without decimals – Amounts are rounded to integers.

  • Amount in 1,000 – Amounts are rounded to the nearest 1,000 units of your company currency.

  • Amount in 1,000,000 – Amounts are rounded to the nearest million units of your company currency.

Show hour

Select whether to display the quantity of hours, the cost value for hours posted to a project, or both on the report.

Item number

Click Select. In the Worker/item consumption (2 periods) form, in the Criteria field, select an item number to include on the report. To add more than one item, click Add.

Worker

Click Select. In the Worker/item consumption (2 periods) form, in the Criteria field, select a worker ID to include on the report. To add more than one worker, click Add.

Click Project management and accounting > Reports > Project statements > Consumption > Consumption (2 periods) > Worker/item consumption (2 periods).

  • InventTable

  • ProjListProjConsumptionTmp table

To determine where the data in the temp tables comes from, view the cross-references for the ProjListProjConsumptionEmpl2PrdDP.processReport class.

If you are a developer, you can learn more about where the data on a report comes from by using the following procedure.

  1. Open the AOT.

  2. Locate the report in the SSRS Reports\Reports node.

  3. Right-click the report and click Add-Ins > Cross-reference > Using (instant view).
