Create a project from a quotation by using the Transfer to Project wizard

This topic explains how to use the Transfer to project wizard in Microsoft Dynamics AX to create a new project based on the details of a project quotation after your organization wins the quotation.
Click Project management and accounting > Common > Quotations > Project quotations.
Select the project quotation for which you are creating a new project, and on the Action Pane, on the Follow up tab, click Transfer to project.
Select the option to create a new project, and then click Next >.
On the Create project page, select the project type and enter the project ID and the project name.
Click Next >, and on the Transfer quotation to project forecast page, select the Transfer to project forecast check box, and then click Next >.
When you select this check box, the project quotation lines are transferred to the default forecast model of the new project.
On the Items transferred to item requirements page, select the Transfer to item requirement check box to add all of the items in the quotation to the project.
Click Next >, review the last page, and then click Finish.
