In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, the Delete purchase requisitions tool is available in Accounts payable (Accounts payable> Periodic> Clean up). This tool lets users delete purchase requisitions.

Reason for deprecation

Because of architectural changes in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, purchase requisitions cannot be hard-deleted. Therefore, the Delete purchase requisitions tool is obsolete.

Replaced by another feature

No. Since the release of AX 2009, the Intelligent Data Management Framework (IDMF) for Microsoft Dynamics AX has been developed. In AX 2012 and future versions, we recommend that companies use the IDMF to delete and archive production data that is no longer required in the production system.
