Change the end date for an approved vendor

Use this procedure to change the end date of the effective approval period for a product that is authorized for an approved vendor. To change the end date, use either the Released products list page form or the Released product details form.

Change the end date from the Released products list page

  1. Click Product information management > Common > Released products.

  2. On the Action Pane, on the Purchase tab, in the Approved vendor group, click Setup.

  3. Select the vendor with the end date to change.

  4. In the Expiration field, select the new end date for the approval period.

    Note

    The expiration date must be the current date or a later date. If the field is left blank, the approval period is continuous until you specify an expiration date.

Change the end date from the Released product details

  1. Click Product information management > Common > Released products.

  2. Double-click the product with the end date to change. The Released product details form is displayed.

  3. On the Action Pane, on the Purchase tab, in the Approved vendor group, click Setup.

  4. Select the vendor with the end date to change.

  5. In the Expiration field, select the new end date for the approval period.

    Note

    The expiration date must be the current date or a later date. If the field is left blank, the approval period is continuous until you specify an expiration date.
