Manage teams (form)

Click Organization administration > Setup > Organization > Teams.

Use the Teams form to create and maintain teams within your company. You can create team types, add members to teams, and assign an administrator to each team.

Enter a description of the team, select an administrator for the team, and indicate that the team is active.

Maintain the list of team members for the team and select effective date options.

Team types

Open the Team type form, where you can create and maintain team types.

Advanced options

Specify date options for the record.

  • Display current – Display only current records.

  • Display the records as of – Display only records for a specific date. Enter the date to display records for in the Date field.

  • Display all records – Display all future, past, and current records.

  • Display records active in the period – Display records within a period. Enter the period dates in the From and To fields.

Description

Name

Enter the name of the team.

Team type 

Select the type of team.

Description

Enter a description of the team.

Administrator

Select a user to be the administrator for the team.

Active

Select this check box if the team is active.

Name (Team members tab)

The name of a member of the team.

Effective

Enter or select the starting date for when the selected person’s membership to the team begins. The default date is the current date.

Expiration

Enter or select the ending date for the person’s membership to the team. The default value for this field is Never.

Team leader

Select this check box if the team member is the team leader for the team.
