Select relationships (form)

Click General ledger > Setup > Chart of accounts > Configure account structures. Select an account structure. If the account structure is not in edit mode, click Edit. Click Relationships.

Use this form to select relationships to apply to the account structure. If you have defined an organization hierarchy and that hierarchy is also represented in the account structure, you can define the relationship between the account structure and organization hierarchy. You can set up relationships in the Relationship types form. (Click Organization administration > Setup > Global address book > Relationship types.)

Only relationships between legal entities, departments, cost centers, business units, and value streams can be applied to an account structure.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Color

Select this check box to display a color in an account structure column to identify that a relationship is currently defined for the column.

Relationship

The identifier of the relationship.

Description

A description of the type of relationship.

Party A

The first party in the relationship.

Party B

The second party in the relationship.
