You can create a process and the stages of a process for projects.

  1. Click Organization administration > Setup > Activities > Process templates.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter the name of the process and a brief description.

    Note

A process is automatically marked as active when you create it. If the new process should be inactive, clear the Active check box.

  4. In the Type field, select Project.

  5. Click File > Save.

  6. Click Actions > Create task.

  7. In the Activity name field, enter a name to identify this activity.

  8. On the General FastTab, enter a start and end range, select a priority, and enter a brief description of the activity.

  9. Repeat steps 5 to 7 for additional activities that you want to create.

    Note

You can assign additional activities to the parent level. You can also assign them as sub-activities to existing activities.
