Create an inventory batch

Use this procedure to create a batch of new inventory.
Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Dimensions > Batches.
Press CTRL+N to add a new line.
In the Batch number field, enter a unique batch identifier.
In the Item number field, select the item for which the inventory batch is being created.
In the Manufacturing date field, select or enter the batch date.
Important
The manufacturing date enables expiration dates, shelf life advice dates, and best before dates to be calculated. These dates are based on the Shelf advice period in days, Shelf life period in days, and Best before period in days values on the Manage inventory FastTab in the Released product details form.
