Sales tax override group (form)

Click Retail > Setup > Sales taxes > Sales tax override groups.
Use this form to set up groups of sales tax overrides. Sales tax overrides are organized into sales tax override groups so that several overrides can be made available at each store.
Following are examples of when a sales tax override might be necessary:
Certain customers, such as charitable organizations, children, or indigenous people, are subject to different tax rates.
Certain items are subject to different tax rates under certain conditions. For example, food items are that are consumed in the store might be taxed differently from food items that are carried out of the store.

The way the sales tax override group is applied, either by Line product or Transaction, depending on the option that you selected for the sales tax override code in the Sales tax overrides form. |
