Shelf label printing (form) [AX 2012]

Click Retail > Periodic > Bar codes and labels > Print shelf labels.
Use this form to print shelf labels. Shelf labels are put on the store racks or shelves where products are displayed or stored. A shelf label can contain all the information about a product except the batch number, serial number, expiration date, and so on.
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.
Buttons
| Button | Description |

| Print labels | Click to print product labels. |
| Reprint labels | Click to reprint labels that have been printed before. |
| Labels to print | Click to view the labels that are ready to print. |
| Printed labels | Click to view information about labels you have printed already. |
| Create label by product | Click to open the Create labels form to create shelf labels for a specific product for a specific retail store. |
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Store number | Select the store to print labels for. |
| Label valid on date | Select the date that the information on the label, such as pricing, becomes valid. |
| Report name | Select the name of the report for the labels you want to print. Set up the report in Shelf label report setup. |
| Quantity | If multiple copies of the labels are required, enter the number of labels to print. |
| Printed quantity | The number of labels that were printed. |
