(IND) Transactions (form)

Click General ledger > Periodic > Sales tax payments > Sales tax payments. Select a tax registration group, a registration number, a settlement period, and the date. Click Tax adjustment, and then click Transactions.

Use this form to view the transactions that are posted to the Recoverable account and Payable account for the component that is selected in the Tax adjustment form. You can then select the transactions to include in the settlement process.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Update the recalculated values according to the tax setoff rules for the selected transactions.

Recoverable amount in total

The cumulative total of the values that are displayed in the Recoverable amount field for the selected records or transactions.

Payable amount in total

The cumulative total of the values that are displayed in the Payable amount field for the selected records or transactions.

Mark

Select this check box for each transaction to include in the settlement process.

Note

By default, all transactions are selected. You can clear this check box for the transactions that should not be included in the settlement process.

Voucher

The voucher number that the transaction is attached to.

Date

The transaction date.

Source

The source of the transaction.

Tax type

The tax type of the transaction.

Tax code

The tax code of the transaction.

Recoverable amount

The recoverable amount of the transaction.

Utilized amount

The recoverable amount of tax that is used to settle a tax liability. This value is equal to the value in the Recoverable amount to settle field after sales tax payments have been generated by using the Sales tax payment form.

This field is available only when at least one option other than Customs is selected in the Apply India taxes field group in the General ledger parameters form.

Recoverable amount to settle

The recoverable amount of tax that is used to settle a payable amount. This value is equal to the difference between the values in the Recoverable amount and Recoverable amount to settle fields for the registration number that is selected in the Sales tax payment form. You can change this amount.

This field is available only when at least one option other than Customs is selected in the Apply India taxes field group in the General ledger parameters form.

Payable amount

The payable amount of the transaction.

Paid amount

The paid amount of tax that is used to settle a tax liability. This value is equal to the value in the Payable amount to settle field after sales tax payments have been generated by using the Sales tax payment form.

This field is available only when at least one option other than Customs is selected in the Apply India taxes field group in the General ledger parameters form.

Payable amount to settle

The payable amount of tax that is used in the tax settlement process. This value is equal to the difference between the values in the Payable amount and Payable amount to settle fields for the registration number that is selected in the Sales tax payment form.

This field is available only when at least one option other than Customs is selected in the Apply India taxes field group in the General ledger parameters form.
