Test types (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click Human resources > Setup > Competencies > Test types.

Use this form to set up one-time tests, or tests that occur regularly. An example might be a technical test that an applicant must pass before they can begin a new job, or a job-related test that must be passed by a worker every year to maintain their employment.

Note

This form is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Test types

The name of a test that might be necessary for a person to do a job or to obtain a position.

Note

After the test type is saved, this field cannot be modified.

Description

A brief description of the test type.

Score required to pass

The numeric score required to pass the test.

Frequency

The rate at which the test occurs or is repeated.

Every

The number that determines the frequency of the recurrence. An example might be every two years.

Note

This field is available only if a recurrence other than One-time only is selected in the Frequency field.

From the

The date when the next recurrence will be determined by:

  • Date completed – The next recurrence will be determined by the date when the test was completed. For example, if the annual test was completed on January 16, 2013, but was not due until January 31, 2013, the next test will be scheduled January 16, 2014.

  • Date required –The next recurrence will be determined by the date when the test is due. For example, if the annual test was completed on January 16, 2013, but was not due until January 31, 2013, the next recurrence will be scheduled January 31, 2014.

Note

This field is available only if a recurrence other than One-time only is selected in the Frequency field.
