Delete a file type and its extension associations

To delete a file type and its extension associations

  1. Open Computer Management.

  2. In the console tree, right-click Shared Folders.

    Where?

    • Computer Management/System Tools/Shared Folders
  3. Click Configure File Server for Macintosh.

  4. On the File Association tab, click the creator you want to delete.

  5. Click Delete, and then click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the selected file type and associated extensions.

Note

  • To open Computer Management, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.
