Description
Excludes additional folders from the user's roaming profile.
By default, the History, Local Settings, Temp, and Temporary Internet Files folders are excluded from the user's roaming profile. The folders specified in the value of this entry are excluded in addition to these folders excluded by default.
This entry stores the setting of the Exclude directories in roaming profile Group Policy. Group Policy adds this entry to the registry when you enable the policy. If you disable the policy or set it to Not configured, Group Policy deletes this entry from the registry
This entry lets you exclude folders that are normally included in the user's profile. As a result, these folders need not be stored by the network server on which the profile resides, and they do not follow users to other computers.
Change method
To change the value of this entry, use Group Policy. This entry corresponds to the Exclude directories in roaming profile Group Policy (User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon/Logoff).
Note
You cannot use this entry to include the folders that are excluded by default.
