Web Server

The Web Server (IIS) role lets you share information with users on the Internet, an intranet, or an extranet. Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 deliver IIS 7, which is a unified Web platform that integrates IIS, ASP.NET, Windows Communication Foundation, and Windows SharePoint Services.
