Group Policy includes the Folder Options extension. This extension allows you to configure various Windows Explorer settings such as file type and application start-up associations, and folder view options.

Getting started

You can create and configure File Type, Open With, and Folder Options preference items for any domain-based Group Policy object (GPO).
