Enable or disable Wireless Client Information logging

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To enable or disable Wireless Client Information logging

  1. Create a console containing Wireless Monitor. Or, open a saved console file containing Wireless Monitor.

  2. Double-click Wireless Client Information.

    Where?

    • Wireless Monitor/ServerName/Wireless Client Information
  3. Right-click Wireless Client Information, and then do one of the following:

  • To disable logging for wireless network clients, click Disable Logging.

  • To enable logging for wireless network clients, click Enable Logging.

Notes

  • Performing this task does not require you to have administrative credentials. Therefore, as a security best practice, consider performing this task as a user without administrative credentials.
