View the Routing Table

Every computer that runs TCP/IP makes routing decisions. These decisions are controlled by the IP routing table. The routing table is a series of entries called routes that contain information about other IP networks and IP hosts.

Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure. Review details about using the appropriate accounts and group memberships at Local and Domain Default Groups (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=83477).

To view the routing table

  1. Open Routing and Remote Access.

  2. In the console tree, right-click Static Routes.

    Where?

    • Routing and Remote Access/server name/[IPv4 or IPv6]/Static Routes

  3. Click Show IP Routing Table.
