Administer Network and Sharing Center

Network and Sharing Center provides a central location where you can administer network connections and sharing on your computer. You can use the following sections to create, view, modify, and delete network connections of all types, including local area network (LAN), wireless local area network (WLAN), virtual private network (VPN), dial-up, and broadband. In addition, you can use other Network and Sharing Center features to view and manage network parameters and sharing.

Note

The procedures in this guide do not include instructions for cases in which the User Account Control dialog box opens to request your permission to continue. If this dialog box opens while you are performing the procedures in this guide, and if the dialog box was opened in response to your actions, click Continue.
