Design a Reporting Strategy

Applies To: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Vista

Reporting is perhaps the most important benefit provided by NAP. During the initial phases of deployment, NAP reports help you identify what, where, and when compliance problems occur on the network. A properly designed NAP report can uncover previously hidden security problems or network failures; it is a useful way in which to monitor the network so that you can make changes to your compliance and exception strategies, if necessary. NAP reports also provide data that you can use to justify security plans. For more information, see NAP Reporting.
