This topic covers the system requirements needed to support the Communicator Mobile for Nokia 1.0 client.

Communicator Mobile for Nokia 1.0can be installed on the following mobile phones:

  • Nokia E52
  • Nokia E72

To support the Communicator Mobile for Nokia 1.0 client, the mobile phone must also meet the following requirements:

  • Screen resolution:
    • 240x320 for Nokia E52 phones
    • 320x240 for Nokia E72 phones
  • Data-connection-enabled (GPRS, Edge, or 3G connection) mobile device. Subscription to an unlimited data plan on the mobile device is recommended, because the client and server will be exchanging messages even when they are in an idle state.

Communicator Mobile for Java is compatible with the following phone models:

  • Nokia E52
  • Nokia E72
