Scenario 2: Sign up for a 30-day trial of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online

Your organization can sign up to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online for a 30-day trial from your Office 365 Administration page.

Add a Microsoft Dynamics CRM trial subscription

  1. Browse to https://portal.microsoftonline.com, and sign in with your global administrator credentials.

  2. On your Office 365 Admin Overview page, under Subscriptions, click Purchase.

  3. On the Purchase subscriptions page, click Trial for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription.

  4. On the Check out page, click Try now.

  5. On the Order receipt page, click Continue.

A Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription will then be added to your Office 365 subscription. It may take from several minutes to several hours to complete the new subscription.

Setting up Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Note

The trial lasts for 30 days, which begins on the day you activate the account. To convert your trial to a paid subscription, see Scenario 10: Converting a trial account to a paid subscription.

Once the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription is added, “CRM” appears at the top of the Admin Overview page. Some initial configuration is necessary before you can access your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online trial.

Prepare your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online trial

  1. Click CRM at the top of the Admin Overview page.

  2. On the You are almost ready… page make any changes necessary and then click Configure CRM.

    Provide additional information about your company

  3. A new page will appear with a Getting Started video. Once your Microsoft Dynamics CRM organization is ready, click Launch CRM Online.
