Working With the Reviews and Ratings List Web Part
The Reviews and Ratings List Web Part displays the list of shopper-generated reviews and ratings for a product. The data source of the Reviews and Ratings List Web Part is the "Reviews and Ratings" list in SharePoint. This Web Part is a SharePoint DataFormWebPart. The Reviews and Ratings List Web Part must be connected to the Product Provider Web Part.
In order for the Product Details Web Part to display ratings, you can choose the "Sample_RatingProductDetails" template; however, this is not mandatory. The Product Details Web Part in the Product Details page of the Default site contains a template with ratings.
To connect the Reviews and Ratings List Web Part to the Product Provider Web Part

Select the Reviews and Ratings List Web Part from the Web Part list.

Select Edit, Connections.

Set Connection to "Get Parameters From".

Set Provider Field Name to "Product Provider Web Part"

In the Configure Connection Webpage dialog box, do the following:

Set Connection to "get parameters from"

Set Provider Field Name to ProductLink

Set Consumer Field Name to ProductLink.

To modify the Product Detail Web Part

Select the Product Detail Web Part.

Edit "Connections".

For "Get Product Provider From" select "Product Provider Web Part".

Modify the XSL Template to load "Sample_RatingProductDetails ".
