How to Update the Catalog Authorization Policy

The catalog authorization policy contains definitions, or scopes, for catalogs, properties, and languages in the Catalog System. Sometimes, especially when you are upgrading an existing site to Commerce Server 2009, the scope for some entities in the catalog is missing in the catalog authorization policy.

To update your catalog authorization policy, use the CreateCatalogAuthorizationStore.exe utility in the Tools folder of your Commerce Server installation directory.
