CSS Business Data XML Configuration File Syntax Elements
This section describes the configuration settings available for use in the business data configuration file. This file is created when you create a Commerce Server Staging (CSS) business data project through the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). The XML configuration files are stored in %COMMERCE_SERVER_ROOT%/Staging/Projects directory
The XML configuration file specifies the set of data to be staged for a project and how it should be staged. These settings let you configure the catalog, marketing, site terms, and orders data to be staged.

If you are using the CSS command line or Staging APIs, we recommend that you first create a business data XML configuration file by using the CSS MMC. You can then copy and modify this XML configuration file to support programmatically staging the business data.
