Deleting Order Status Codes

You can delete existing order status codes by using the Order Status Codes module. This is useful when, for example, you do not require an order status code for identifying a particular object.

  • After you delete an order status code, it cannot be recovered. If you need the order status code you deleted, you must re-create it.
  • After you delete an order status code, you must contact your system administrator to update your site so the code is removed.

To delete an order status code

  1. In Orders, click Order Status Codes.
  2. In the Order Status Codes screen, select the order status code you want to delete, and then click Delete on the toolbar.
  3. In the Order Status Codes confirmation dialog box, click OK.

The order status code is deleted from your site.
