Copying and Importing Required Files for the Source Server

Both the source and destination servers must contain the same POSchema.xml and CatalogXMLSchema.xml files.

  • The source and destination servers must have the same catalogs of products; otherwise the purchase order submission will fail. For information about setting up your catalogs, see Setting Up Your Catalogs for BizTalk Server.

To copy POSchema.xml to the source server

To import CatalogXMLSchema.xml into BizTalk Editor

To copy POSchema.xml to the source server

  • Copy the POSchema.xml file located in <drive:>\inetpub\wwwroot\<site name> to the path <drive:>\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server\BizTalkServerRepository\DocSpecs\Microsoft.

To import CatalogXMLSchema.xml into BizTalk Editor

  1. Open BizTalk Editor. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000, and then click BizTalk Editor.

  2. In BizTalk Editor, on the Tools menu, click Import.

  3. Select XDR Schema, and then click OK.

  4. In the Import XDR Schema dialog box, in the Look in box, navigate to <drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Commerce Server 2000, select CatalogXMLSchema.xml, and then click Open.

  5. On the File menu, click Store to WebDAV.

  6. In the Store to WebDAV dialog box, in the File name box, type CatalogXMLSchema.xml, and then click Save.

  7. Close the BizTalk Editor.

The CatalogXMLSchema.xml file is imported into BizTalk Editor and stored in Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV). The file is now a specification, that has the appropriate header information and specified structure so it can be used for catalog exchange.
