Specifying the Location of a Log File to the Data Warehouse

Perform the following steps to specify the location of a log file to be imported into the Data Warehouse.

To specify the location of a log file to the Data Warehouse

1. Expand Internet Information Services, expand the server name, right-click Default Web Site, and then click Properties.
2. In the Default Web Site Properties dialog box, click Properties.
3. In the Extended Logging Properties dialog box, on the General Properties tab, type the path of the log file directory in the Log file directory box.
4. Click OK to exit the Log file Properties dialog box, and then click OK to exit the Default Web Site Properties dialog box.

The Data Warehouse can find the log file for your Web site.
