You type several lines in a Description box, or other box, and then click Save and go back on the toolbar. The Description column for the new product you created has 
 for every carriage return in the box.

Solution

This is not an error. Commerce Server converts database carriage returns to 
 for data that is sent to the Business Desk client. When the data is displayed, Commerce Server converts 
 back to carriage returns.
