Step 2: Creating the Office Machines catalog set

  1. In Catalogs, click Catalog Sets.

  2. In the Catalog Sets screen, click Add on the toolbar.

  3. In the New Catalog Set screen, do the following:

    Use this To do this
    Name Type Office Machines.
    Description Type Catalog Set for the Office Machines product group.
    Available Catalogs Select Office Machines and then click Add.

    Office Machines appears in the Assigned catalogs list box.

  4. Click save and go back on the toolbar to save the Office Machines catalog set and return to the Catalog Sets screen.

    Notice that Office Supplies and Office Machines both appear in the Name column of the Catalog Sets screen.

You have created and saved a catalog set for each product group, and assigned the appropriate base catalog to each catalog set. Proceed to Lab 3: Adding Products to Your Catalogs.
