Changing IIS Performance Tab Settings

You can change the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 Performance tab settings to increase performance.

To change the IIS Performance Tab settings

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Internet Services Manager.
  2. In the Internet Information Services screen, expand the nodes to the following path: Internet Information Services/<Server Name>/Default Web Site.
  3. Right-click Default Web Site and select Properties.
  4. Click the Performance tab.
  5. Move the Performance Tuning slider to the right to More than 100,000, and then click OK.
