Report preparation task fails

If you install the Data Warehouse on a computer running software that performs a real-time scan of your system (for example, virus protection software), you might not be able to run the Report preparation Data Transformation Services (DTS) task successfully.

Solution

To resolve this issue, use the Windows 2000 Task Manager to end the process in which the scanning software is running.
