Database Connection Strings Dialog Box
The following table shows the options and functions available in the Database Connection Strings dialog box. This dialog box is displayed when you use Commerce Server Site Packager.
Use this | To do this |
---|---|
Resource | Select the resource on which you want to perform an action, such as changing a database server. |
Modify | Specify a different server or database for a resource. |
Defaults | Return your connection strings to the default settings, which consist of two databases (one for Data Warehouse and one for the other resources) stored locally. |
Copy | Copy the database connection string of the selected resource to the Clipboard.

Paste | Paste the selected resources from the Clipboard.
Note

New Database | Create a new database for the selected resource(s). Use this command if you want to put the database on a different computer. |
