Configuration Selection Dialog Box

You use this dialog box to select the model configurations you want to set up and the site for which you want to build model configurations.

The following table shows the options and functions available in the Configuration selection page dialog box.

Use this To do this
Select the site to set up the model configuration Select the site name for which you want to build the model configurations from the drop-down list.
Select the model configurations you want to set up Select any of the following model configurations from the list provided:
  • Transactions Model Configuration. Use to build analysis models that predict the products that users are likely to buy. For example, your site could present each user with a personalized list of product recommendations.
  • Demographics Model Configuration. Use to build analysis models that predict the demographic characteristics that your users are likely to share. For example, you can use the demographic analysis models to improve your understanding of the registered users who visit your site.
  • Combined Transactions and Demographics Model Configuration. Use to build analysis models that predict likely relationships between demographic characteristics and product purchases. The accuracy of this model is directly proportional to the number of registered users on your Web site.
  • Product Browsing Model Configuration. Use to build analysis models that predict the products that your users are likely to browse. For example, you can place links on your site that are relevant to your users.
  • Ad Click Model Configuration. Use to build analysis models that predict the ads that your users are likely to click.
Use Defaults Click this button to make the wizard skip pages where default values are available.
