It includes links to tools downloads and sample scripts that can be used to test your site performance. |
| Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) | Contains information about Commerce Server and other Microsoft® Windows Server Systems™. You may find it helpful to visit this site on a regular basis. Search MSDN, and enter Commerce Server 2000 to find related documents and white papers. |
| The Art and Science of Web Server Tuning with Internet Information Services 5.0 | A white paper which describes the issues and approaches involved in tuning a Web server when running Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0 on Windows 2000 Server. It discusses the importance of monitoring and testing, as well as potential hardware, software, and tool issues that may arise.
There is a section on new or changed IIS and Windows 2000 settings and features, and there are a number of appendixes that list useful tips, registry and metabase settings, and resources for your reference. While this document is written specifically for IIS 5.0, much of this material may also be useful for IIS 4.0 administrators. |
| Commerce Server Software Development Kit (SDK) | Contains technical information for developers creating programs or intelligent Web pages that must integrate with the Commerce Server application programming interface (API). The SDK contains a guide for programmers and references to various Commerce Server and commerce technologies. It also includes samples and header files that you can use to create your own programs. |
| TechNet | Contains technical information and tools designed to help you plan, develop, deploy, and manage your e-commerce Web sites.
