Programmer's Reference Road Map
Commerce Server 2000 Help includes extensive reference material in the section entitled Programmer's Reference. This reference documentation includes the following sections:
Object Reference. Provides reference pages for the Component Object Model (COM) objects supplied with Commerce Server, and for each of their properties and methods.
Interface Reference. Provides reference pages for the COM interfaces that you can implement so that your objects can be invoked by components of Commerce Server. These include the pipeline interfaces that you implement to create your own pipeline components, and the Commerce Server Site Packager interface.
Pipeline Component Reference. Provides reference pages for the pipeline components supplied with Commerce Server.
OLE DB Provider for Commerce Server. Provides reference documentation for the OLE DB Provider for Commerce Server that provides access to the Profile System and the Data Warehouse within Commerce Server.
Business Desk Reference. Provides reference pages for Commerce Server Business Desk. Specifically, these reference pages present the details of the events, properties, and methods of the HTML Components (HTCs), as well as details about the constants, global variables and utility routines provided by the Business Desk Framework.
XML Reference. Provides reference material regarding the structure of various Extensible Markup Language (XML) documents used throughout Commerce Server.
Schema Reference. Provides reference material about the database schema used in certain key areas of Commerce Server where detailed knowledge of the schema is important.
Database Table Reference. Provides information about a number of Commerce Server databases and the tables they contain. This information can be useful when establishing SQL replication.
Style Sheet Reference. Provides information about the Customizable Style Sheets (CSS) used by Business Desk.
