Product Browsing Model Configuration Dialog Box

Use the Product Browsing model configuration to build analysis models that predict the products that your users are likely to browse. For example, you can place links on your site that are relevant to your users.

You use this dialog box to specify columns in the default view, custom table, or view that correspond to the required properties when building a Product Browsing model configuration for your Web site.

The following table shows the options and functions available in the Product Browsing Model Configuration dialog box:

Use this To do this
Set up Product Browsing model configuration Select this check box to set up the Product Browsing model configuration.
Table or view name From the drop-down list, select the name of the table or view that contains the product browsing data.
User ID From the drop-down list, select the name of the column in the selected table that contains the browsing user data.
Page ID From the drop-down list, select the name of the column in the selected table that contains data about page identifiers a user has browsed.
Page Head Count From the drop-down list, select the name of the column in the selected table that contains data about the number of times a user has viewed the page.
Use Defaults Click to set the mapping for all properties used by this model configuration to the Commerce Server default schema. The default Commerce Server schema gathers the data from UriQuery, Visits and Request tables, which are populated by the Web Server Log Import DTS task.
