AuthFilter

This section discusses the AuthFilter, the ISAPI filter provided with Commerce Server 2000. An ISAPI filter is a DLL loaded into the Internet Information Services (IIS) process when the Web service is started. The AuthFilter alters the default behavior of IIS and affects how HTTP requests and responses are handled. By default, when the filter is used, it is installed at the IIS site level with low priority.
