Accessing the Profile Definition Designer

You use the Profile Definition Designer to view, create, or modify the profiles used in your Commerce Server site. You can also map the properties of existing profiles to new data sources, delete existing profiles and profile properties, and configure new data sources. You can access the Profile Definition Designer by using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.

To access the Profile Definition Designer from Visual Studio .NET

  • On the Project menu, point to Commerce Server Project, and then click Profile Definition Designer.

The Profile Definition Designer opens.
