How To Modify Web Parts

Perform the following procedure to update links contained in Web Part properties so that they will point to the appropriate files and locations.

To update the Web Part properties

  1. Browse to the default zone (intranet facing) of the source site variation, for example https://server: <port>/English/Pages/default.aspx

  2. Click the My Shopping Cart link in the top right of the page.

  3. On the My Cart page, click Site Actions, and then click Edit Page.

  4. Mouse over the Shopping Cart Web Part to display the Shopping Cart Web Part menu, and then click Edit Web Part.

  5. In the Shopping Cart Web Part pane on the right, edit the following Web Part properties:

    1. Template To Display = DefaultSite_Cart.

    2. Continue Shopping Page = default (This may already be set to default. If so, select another item from the drop-down list, and then go back and select default again.)

    3. Checkout Page = checkout

  6. In the Web Part properties window, click Apply, and then click OK to save the changes.

  7. In the Web Part properties window, select Publish to update the page in SharePoint.

  8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 for each site variation.

  9. Browse to the default zone (intranet facing) of the source site variation, for example https://server: <port>/English/Pages/default.aspx.

  10. To display the Checkout Web Part, add a catalog item to the cart, and then proceed to checkout.

  11. On the Checkout page, click Site Actions, and then click Edit Page.

  12. Mouse over the Checkout Web Partto display the Checkout Web Part menu, and then click Edit Web Part.

  13. In the Checkout Web Part pane on the right, set the following Checkout Web Part properties:

    1. Flow Source = DefaultSiteCheckoutSteps

    2. CartPage = cart (This may already be set to cart. If so, select another item from the drop-down list, and then go back and select cart again.)

  14. In the Web Part properties window, click Apply, and then click OK to save the changes.

  15. In the Web Part properties window, select Publish to update the page in SharePoint.

  16. Repeat steps 9 through 14 for each site variation.
