How to Deploy the Web Parts in Wizard Mode

You can use the SharePoint Commerce Services utility to deploy the Web Parts on an existing SharePoint application. If you are deploying the Commerce Server Web Parts only, you must create a Web application and a site collection in SharePoint before you deploy the Web Parts.

Before you run the SharePoint Commerce Services Configuration Wizard, ensure that the following services are running:

  • SharePoint 2010 Administration

  • SharePoint Server Search 14 (if using SharePoint Server 2010)

  • SharePoint Foundation Search V4 (if using SharePoint Foundation 2010)

  • SharePoint 2010 Timer

To determine if the services are running, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
