Hardware Requirements for Commerce Web and Application Tier Servers
The following table lists the minimum hardware requirements for the servers hosting Commerce Server 2009 R2 presentation and Commerce Foundation software components. This information applies to presentation tier servers in two-tier or three-tier commerce deployment topologies, and application tier servers in a three-tier commerce deployment topology.
If you plan to use the development platform and Commerce Server 2009 R2 core components exclusively, without installing SharePoint Commerce Services on your server, refer to the requirements listed in the second column of the following table.
