Remarks

In SQL Server 2005, classes for creating and managing instances and applications are in the Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Nmo namespace. This class is replaced by the Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Nmo.Instance.Applications property, which returns an ApplicationCollection object. This class is included only for compatibility with earlier versions of Notification Services and may not be supported in a future release.

The ApplicationEnumeration class allows an application to iterate through the set of Notification Services applications in a given Notification Services instance. It also provides an Item property to return an NSApplication object that represents a specific Notification Services application. This class is used primarily for administrative purposes and for configuring subscription management applications.
