FullTextCatalog2 Object
This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.
The FullTextCatalog2 object exposes the properties of a single Microsoft Search persistent data store and extends the functionality of the FullTextCatalog object.

Remarks
The FullTextCatalog2 object extends the functionality of the FullTextCatalog object for use with features that were introduced in Microsoft SQL Server 2000. It also inherits the properties and methods of the FullTextCatalog object.
The Refresh method of the FullTextCatalog2 object may not be compatible with instances of SQL Server version 7.0 or earlier. For more information about using the FullTextCatalog2 object in an application that also runs with an instance of SQL Server 7.0, refer to the Remarks section of the Refresh method.
