Issecurityadmin Property

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The Issecurityadmin property reports membership in the fixed server role securityadmin for the SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) connection.

Remarks

Members of the Microsoft SQL Server fixed server role securityadmin have permission to create, modify, and drop server logins. For more information about adding members to a server role, see AddMember Method.

If TRUE, the login authenticating client application connection is a member of the securityadmin role.

If FALSE, the login authenticating client application connection is not a member of the role.
