Default Element (BorderStyle) (RDL)

Specifies the default style of the border of the item.

Remarks

The Default element must contain an expression that evaluates to one of the following values.

  • None
  • Dotted
  • Dashed
  • Solid
  • Double
  • Groove
  • Ridge
  • Inset
  • WindowInset
  • Outset

When used in a chart, plot area, or legend, the Default element can only contain None, Dotted, Dashed, or Solid. Any other style is ignored.

The Default element can be overridden for a specific side through the Left, Right, Top, or Bottom elements. If borders overlap, the style of the border is determined by the rendering extension.
