Gets or sets the ID of a component.

Property Value

An Integer that contains the ID of the component.

Remarks

The ID property is set by the data flow task when the component is initially added to the ComponentMetaDataCollection. It is read-only and cannot be modified.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
